Your Vote Counts!

The race is on! The Maryland Budget & Tax Policy Institute is (maybe) renaming our blog. We have been posting stories, commentary and news on this blog since August. I picked the name “Maryland Budget Items,” which I still really like.

However, there are those who think this blog should have a different name. And we decided to have a contest about it.

Now – the nominations are in! You can vote. There is a poll on the right side of the blog where you can pick your favorite. You can even vote to keep “Maryland Budget Items.”

Polls close at midnight December 24. We will announce the winner as soon as our UN election observers certify the results (not really).

The individual who proposed the winning entry gets a lunch with me, and a souvenir coffee mug with the winning blog name on it.
