The Week Ahead

Monday, January 9^th

• We’re at the Maryland Nonprofits Legislative Preview this morning from 8:30am to 12:30pm at the Doubletree Hotel, 210 Holiday Court, Annapolis.  A few spaces are still available for walk-in registrations.

Tuesday, January 10^th

• The Bureau of Labor Statistics releases county-level employment and wage data for the second quarter of 2011.

Wednesday, January 11^th

• The 2012 Legislative Session starts at noon.

• Save Our State has a rally at 10am in the Public Lounge in the Taylor House Office Building.

Thursday, January 12^th

• Legislative committee hearings begin.

Friday, January 13^th

• The Commission to Study Campaign Finance Laws has a meeting at 1pm in Room 130 of the House Office Building, 6 Bladen Street, Annapolis.  The Commission will consider potential recommendations to be included in their initial report.
